FreeIAT: Versions and Source Code

There are no known bugs, but the program does make several assumptions:

• The ‘Config.txt’ file must be located in the same directory as the FreeIAT.exe program. The default installation location of this file is in the ‘\program files\FreeIAT\’ directory.  This directory is read-only by Windows default.  You will want to move it to elsewhere.
• Labels and stimuli (especially images) should be pilot tested. The limits on labels and stimuli will depend on the screen resolution of the computer administering the IAT.

Version Changes

Version 1.3.3 changes stimuli font color on Stage 4 for the text-only version of the IAT.

Version 1.3.2 corrects a problem with the labels prior to Stage 5 for the text-only version of the IAT.

Version 1.3.1 changes the program updater to eliminate issues associated with some systems.

Version 1.3 reports additional output in the ScoresOnly.txt file that allows internal consistency to be estimated.  Also adds an “updates” button to check for the most recent version of the FreeIAT.

Version 1.2.1 adds a screen flash between stimuli and color-codes stimuli for non-image IATs.

Version 1.1 corrects a bug in 1.0 that caused an out of range runtime error.
